violence against women

	It is 'Violence Against Women' Awareness day in my town so there are all sorts of broadcasts and interviews on the radio today. In lite of some recent postings.....a few statistics that have shocked me: A women will endure an average of 32 'incidents' of violence/abuse before they will call the police. 50% of the women in Canada have experienced some sort of abuse/violence.
