Wow....you live with him? That must be so difficult! And, that seems like such an understatement! It sounds like you have all of the benefits of being his wife. Without being his wife. Why would he ever want to leave her for you if he has all of this with you? Have you told him that you want to marry him? What a difficult situation...hugs to you and welcome to Pink! The women on here are wonderful! > I was wondering if anyone else has ever been in this completely complicated situation. I have been with MM for 5 years. A year ago, due to financial situations on both parts, I moved into his home. I have my own apartment attached to the house. They have 2 kids both in college and living at home, both of whom I am wonderful friends with. She does have some inclination as to whats going on, but is in a lot of denial. Our relationship actually started out with a passionate kiss, which he told her about as soon as it happened. Then the affair started with just sex and now has come to the point where we share hobbies, make plans for everyday, share meals, sleep together, do day trips, etc. Everything but the sex (which is daily)is out in the open. Over the past several years, the two of them have become distant with one another. She's quite content up in her room, sewing or crafting and going to bed early. He and I are usually up playing games, working on projects until our eyeballs collapse. Recently, he has told her that he's in love with me, which she knows. He has also asked me if I would wait for him while he tries to get out of his marriage. This has been very recent, something I'm not quite sure I want, and I think I'm setting myself up for extremely troubled times. I've tried to leave him, he's tried to leave me, and we've both come to the conclusion that it's just too hard to be away from each other. Is there anyone that's been through this sort of situation??? |
