    I am sure that flour is part of the problem. I used "harina de fuerza" which should translate as bread flour and also lard, rather than oil. I'm also thinking I'd be better mixing by hand instead of machine but ... one thing at a time otherwise I'll never know what is improving the dough!

BTW CD .. watched a great program on a food channel yesterday. Set in Britain .. a female chef of Indian extraction was traveling around the country introducing people to simple Indian cooking, but starting from scratch with the spices. Very well done indeed. And looked absolutely delicious!
