THREE WAY LOVE AFFAIR
by John J. Powell

Here we are sitting at home.
You on the net
Me feeling all alone
It's as if you're not here yet

It's your other lover
Maybe just words on a screen
Does he know he's committing murder
For I feel this is killing me

You continue to say you love me
Yet you also love another
Will you come to our bed
With thoughts of him in your head

You lie here, next to me
But I feel you're with him
I need to sleep
But it will not come

Well, tomorrow is another day
Maybe then it's my turn
To be the one to play
Your lover in turn

You say he doesn't factor in
To our everyday lives
But I think you like to pretend
That this constant is a lie

Dam it's hard
Trying to fit or figure
Is it my turn?
In this three way love affair
